this is the page where i'll tell you about mzd!

mzd is a dude who, while being a mainstay pop'n music character, remains largely a mystery. he's almost always accompanied by his shadow "?" (alternatively: hatena), whom we also know little about. what we do know about mzd is that he is an "eternal boy", likes to dj and climb trees, and is currently engaged to an unknown person/being (which i like to think is me, obviously).

i like to imagine mzd's personality as being generally stoic and cold but secretly carefree and fun-loving when he's alone. although mzd interacts with many other poppers, he's quite lonely as he spends a lot of time alone and just doesn't really let anyone get close to him in general.
